About Dr. Julie Lynch-Sasson, DC

I grew up here in the Silicon Valley when there were still orchards to run through and life here was a little simpler. I am the child of both a high-tech entrepreneur and psychologist (entrepreneur as well). I have always been interested in living a healthy and active life.

I chose to change my career from high-technology start-ups after personally experiencing the benefits of chiropractic.

In my mid- teens, I had horrible food allergies and was treated by a medical doctor who had studied Hahnemann homeopathy and with Linus Pauling, Nobel Peace Prize in chemistry. This sparked my initial interest in natural ways to heal the body. However, I suffered for many years from headaches and pains in my lower back from sports injuries (soccer, softball, diving) and a few car accidents in my early 20s.

Not wanting to be dependent on any medications, I started looking into alternative/complimentary ways have my body heal with natural methods.
In my search, I was introduced to chiropractic and became a patient, attended a Neuro Emotional Technique seminar which blends structural, chemical (homeopathy/nutrition) and emotional (stressors) using chiropractic, acupuncture meridian therapy and muscle testing to get to the root cause of what is going on in the body. After that weekend, I knew that is my path and passion!

Prior to starting chiropractic college, I was invited by ONE Foundation Research to be the treasurer for their board of directors for two years.

Education:

I graduated magna cum laude from Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California after having completed my premed/chiropractic courses through Patten University’s science extension course. I also hold both a BS and BA from CSU, Chico. I spent my junior year on exchange at the University of Madrid, La Cumplutense de Madrid, and speak Spanish fluently and my honors recreation internship at both Far Niente Winery and the Napa Valley Vintners Association.

While in chiropractic college, I began my post-doctoral studies in Chiropractic Neurology through the Carrick Institute which I am still working towards. Additionally, I have studied Neuroemotional Technique (NET), Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology, Activator Methods, Neuromechanical/Impulse Adjusting, Motion Palpation and BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique.

I am also interested in working with people’s nutrition as many of our foods today are not as vital (nutrient rich) as in the past. I have studied the Essentials of Nutritional Therapy and Advanced Clinical Nutrition through Standard Process at their Alameda, CA facility. Additionally, I am trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises.

What you can expect from me is that I will take the time to educate my patients on various health therapies available to them and provide preventative instructions to aid in at-home care. My goal is to help each patient reach their optimal health goals.

I live in Charleston area of South Carolina. I enjoy the outdoors including hiking, swimming, the beach, white water rafting, and spending time with my family and friends.

Call today to see how we can work together to bring you into alignment and for you to reach your health goals now.
